Branko Ninkovic

Branko Ninkovic is a recognised cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience. He founded and successfully exited Dragonfly Technologies in 2024 via acquisition, leading initiatives that protected major Australian organisations across healthcare, law enforcement, banking, and finance.

As a Board Member of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), Branko helps shape Australia's cybersecurity landscape. He provides 1-on-1 coaching and mentorship through boostify cyber to new and seasoned CISOs and company founders, helping them perform at their best, navigate complex business and security challenges, and scale their organisations effectively.

Branko is also a practicing cybersecurity advisor and CISO, supporting some of Australia’s and overseas’ most security-conscious organisations to protect critical assets, manage risk, and achieve measurable security outcomes.

Branko co-founded boostify cyber, a dynamic cybersecurity accelerator and education platform dedicated to fostering innovation and growth in the sector. Boostify Cyber supports startups ready to scale and cybersecurity professionals striving to excel through tailored mentorship, networking, and educational programs.

He is also the co-founder of Critical Front, a company focused on helping organisations unlock AI’s potential while managing its risks and shaping its future. CriticalFront enables organisations to innovate responsibly, securely, and with lasting impact through robust AI governance.

Previously, Branko founded VAXXIN8, a healthcare startup and founding landing pad inductee into San Francisco’s RocketSpace incubator — an initiative launched under Australia’s National Innovation and Science Agenda, championed by then-Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to accelerate global exposure and investment for high-potential Australian startups.

VAXXIN8 joined an elite cohort of companies including Uber, Square, Fitbit, Slack, and SendGrid, gaining early-stage mentorship, strategic partnerships, and access to international markets.
